The world is her canvas and disappearing cultures are her subject.  Jo Sherwood takes her travel easel off the beaten path, mostly to third world countries, in an effort to capture scenes of people and landscapes in remote and hidden regions revealing the essence of humanity.  The people are unintentionally being absorbed by the progress of civilization and globalization.
